The theme “Abstracting the Round” invited artists to show their interpretation of the concept how roundness is part of their artwork.
Creation or Evolution
March 2014 - August 2014
This show inlcuded 75 paintings of 9 Texas artists. The body of work was selected by the Gallery and artist from work made over the past 20 years and paired it with present work.
Those expressions of then and now tell the story about whether the process and work is a Creation, each time - something new happens for a reason, or its a journey that clearly evolves into what is being made today.
